He explains in detail the most important aspects of sectional times and how to read the Incremental Velocity Ratings report (example pdf available here).

Vince has put together a Spring package covering all Melbourne Saturday metro meetings for all of September, October and November.  You can get that information by signing up right here.

Very interesting…

So Sea Lord was ranked the “best horse” on the card in the chart and then comes out a fortnight later and wins at 30/1 (40/1 in the running on Betfair).

Gives a definite thumbs up for the speed ratings…

We thought it was a pretty open race with many winning chances and that’s not our bread and butter.

The average price of $40 on Betfair was big overs though.

Yea… winning on one hand is good… winning by a short nose is perhaps good luck ;)
